RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT OF EIGHT FLATS
This project involved the conversion of an important local building in the centre of the County Town of Dorchester into eight flats.
Woodforde Scott worked closely with the developer from the inception of this development opportunity and was heavily involved in every aspect. We negotiated the purchase of the site, negotiated release of restrictive covenants, liaised with the local authority to ensure the proposed scheme was acceptable, worked closely with architects to ensure the value of the proposed scheme was maximised, liaised with conservation officers and archaeologists through the planning process and assisted in a value engineering exercise to maximise the quality and profitability of the scheme. We were heavily involved in the construction and marketing phase, making sure that the final specification met the market requirements.
